Zlatan Ibrahimovic
According to reports in the Spanish media, AC Milan and Barcelona have agreed a deal to take striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the San Siro.
Ibrahimovic scored 20 goals in 41 appearances for Barcelona last season following his high profile move from Inter Milan last summer. However, his performances were criticised by the notoriously harsh Spanish media, and his Barcelona appearances would probably be limited following the arrival of David Villa at the Nou Camp.
The Swedish striker is thought to have favoured a deal to move to AC Milan for some time, having enjoyed his time in the city with Inter.
Now, Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo reports that AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has thrashed out a deal with Barcelona president Sandro Rosell, which will see Ibrahimovic move for a fee of 40 million euros payable in three instalments. Ibrahimovic himself is set to sign a four-year deal worth eight million euros per year.
The player’s agent, Mino Raiola commented that Ibrahimoic himself would have the final word and will decide his future by the end of today.
Raiola told Spanish daily ‘Sport’, "Zlatan has taken 24 hours to decide. It is a delicate decision, but this Friday he will give an answer to Milan ."
