Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has delivered a major boost to manager Arsene Wenger by declaring himself fit for the trip to Bolton on Sunday.

Fabregas has been working hard with physio David Wales to ensure he can return from a hamstring injury picked up in Arsenal’s draw at Burnley and then aggravated when scoring his second goal against Aston Villa.

The 22-year-old playmaker said: "My hamstring feels 100 per cent now. There is no point rushing it and Bolton away is a reasonable target for me. The snow may have disrupted the football, but it hasn't interrupted my rehab. I was running in the snow with physio David Wales and I wish someone was there to take a photo."

The Arsenal skipper added: "Everything was white, it was an unbelievable scene, just two of us in the middle of four pitches. It was a nice experience, but also hard work, so hopefully it'll pay off."

Cesc Fabregas has been in irrepressible form for Arsenal this season, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists in 22 Premier League and Champions League matches.

The return of Fabregas is welcome news for Arsene Wenger who is without Alexandre Song due to Africa Cup of Nations involvement and is waiting on news of Denilson's injury.
