Spanish newspaper Sport reports today that Barcelona will look to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the summer and the Catalan giants have narrowed their striker options down to Fernando Torres of Liverpool and David Villa of Valencia.

Sport suggests Barcelona are not satisfied that Ibrahimovic has fully replaced Samuel Eto’o at the Nou Camp and Pep Guardiola will look to sign a new number nine in the summer.

Canal Carazo in Sport reports that although Fernando Torres is contracted to Liverpool until the end of season 2012/2013 and El Nino has not publicly said he wants to leave, Rafa Benitez fears the Spanish striker could rethink his situation following a poor season for the club.

Torres is also tipped by the Spanish newspaper to have "always dreamed of joining Barcelona, which he has told his agent."

David Villa is expected to leave Valencia in the summer with Los Che looking to pay off huge debts. Although Manchester City and Chelsea are reportedly interested, Villa would like to stay in Spain and would be available for 50 million euros.

Fernando Torres has scored 15 goals in 24 appearances for Liverpool in 2009/2010 in the Premier League and in European competition. David Villa ’s tally currently stands at 20 goals in 32 games.

What a load of tosh!! Torres will not be going nowhere - so as said before - dont get ya hopes up. And as for Villa, he'll be coming to Liverpool next year after the Rhone Group buy us out - FOR SURE!!!

Guardiola is a racist in the first place. He sold Samuel Etoo to Inter despite of the fact that the guy is happy at Barca. Yahya Toure should learn from Samuel. Samuel is better than Zlatan

Donald, was it easier to write that comment with those abbreviated words than normally?
Anyways, Torres will go to Barca and Villa will go to United. You heard it here...

Henry in his first season was horrendous. By his second season, the sextuplet wouldn't have been possible without his contributions. Ibra is playing in a very different league, compared to Serie A, in the hardest system in world football. Ibra is adapting, and has 16 goals and 9 assists in 28-29 games, which is beyond satisfactory for a debut season. Ibra also single handily won Barca the game against Real Madrid, the biggest football match on planet earth, el classico. Ibra also won and scored a crucial goal against arch rivals, Espanyol and most recently scored the all important away goal in CL round of 16. Guardiola trusta Ibra, I trust Guardiola, so let's wait at least until the end of this season, before making judgments..

Vamos Barca!

how can any of u actually think that torres will stay, liverpool will not finish in the top 4 of PL or at least if they do, it wont be convincin nd at this rate, just the europa league places r unlikely. if nd wen they dont qualify 4 CL, torres wont want europa league football nd will want out of there. it wud b the easiest decision of his career 2 leave liverpool just 4 CL football nd if ibrahimovic leaves barca then arsenal should sign him cos hes exactly the kind of player they need. UP THE GUNNERS!!!!

"how can any of u actually think that torres will stay"

Cos we're not all mornonic arseholes who believe everything they read in the red tops, Donald. Why would Liverpool sell tp pay RBS £100m when their asset is then depreciated by the sale of Torres? It makes no sense. The only quotes from Torres have been about his love of the club. One season out of the top 4 won't be enough to sway him.
