French side Cannes have made a sensational offer to former Juventus and Czech Republic legend Pavel Nedved, who has been retired for eight months, according to a report in L’Equipe today.
Cannes, who are in the third tier of French football, recently signed a former team mate of Nedved in the Czech national side, Jan Koller and are also chasing former French international Sylvain Wiltord .
Nedved retired last June and was offered a role at Juventus where he could be part of the backroom staff at the club.
Cannes are currently thirteenth in the National Championship.
