Carlos Vela
Carlos Vela has hinted that he would be willing to leave Arsenal and that a successful World Cup could "open doors" for him.
The 21-year-old played in Mexico’s 3-1 defeat to England last night but missed two guilt-edged chances which could have boosted the confidence of the Arsenal forward after a season of struggle.
Vela: "It was difficult for me this year, I didn't have many opportunities when I was fit. Afterward, many injuries didn't allow me to be in good form. But I believe I still have time to get ready.''
The Mexican striker is under even more pressure at Arsenal after Arsene Wenger signed Marouane Chamakh late last week.
Vela added: "I'm only concentrated on playing for Mexico and having a good World Cup, and having a good World Cup can open many doors, if not at Arsenal , we'll see where."
