Biram Kayal
Neil Lennon will hope to lift the mood at Parhhead, following last night's 3-0 Champions League drubbing, by announcing the signing of Israeli midfielder Biram Kayal from Maccabi Haifa .
Kayal is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most talented midfielders in Israel. He has excellent passing ability and has been involved in the lion's share of Maccabi Haifa 's attacking football over the last two years, helping them to the 2009 championship. He played a major role in Israel's attempt to qualify for the 2010 World Cup finals and has twelve international caps so far.
The 22-year-old has signed a four year deal at Celtic and becomes Lennon's seventh signing so far this summer. New faces at Parkhead include Charlie Mulgrew, Joe Ledley , Cha Du-Ri and Efrain Juarez, all of whom played last night. Strikers Daryl Murphy and Gary Hooper have also put pen to paper to become Celtic players.
