As the Champions League enters the fourth round of games next week, there are already five teams who could bow out of the competition.

French side Auxerre, Turkish outfit Bursaspor, Israeli champions Hapoel Tel Aviv, Serbs Patizan Belgrade, and Slovakian titleholders MSK Zilina could all be dumped out of the competition if they lose and other results go against them.

Just like the World Cup, the UEFA Champions League serves as a shop window – especially for talents in the less successful teams - and it is particularly such teams from whom the stars can be lured away.

We at IMScouting have picked out some players from the above five teams who we feel could be interesting prospects for a move to a higher level.

Partizan Belgrade

Radosav Petrovic
Age
: 21
Nationality: Serbian
PositionDefensive midfielder
Estimated market value: €2.5M-5M
Efficiency rating: Goal or assist every 136.3 minutes

Petrovic is a very talented defensive midfielder, who football experts in Serbia have tipped for a great career.

Petrovic is a very tall, strong and well-built , while also possessing very good technique, passing and vision.

In a very short period of time Petrovic became a member of the Serbian national team, and rapidly improved the attacking side to his game to score eight goals last season.

And he has carried forward his momentum this term, with three goals and three assists so far, including two assists in Champoins League qualifying, to add to his defensive qualities.

His main weakness is his lack of speed and acceleration at a high level, and if he improves on that he could well succeed at a higher level.

Sunderland were linked with Petrovic this time last year. The question is will Steve Bruce come in for him again after seeing him in the Champions League?

Stefan Savic
Age
: 19
Nationality: Montenegro
PositionCentral defender
Estimated market value: €500K-1M

Stefan Savic is one of the most talented young players in Southern Europe. Even playing for minor Serbian side BSK Borca, agents of several European giants marked him out as a hot prospect for the future.

He had trials with Arsenal in the winter of 2009/10 and trained with the club for 10 days, before the Gunners decided against signing him in that transfer window.

The first thing most people notice in Savic is his fantastic self-confidence and stability. He is always so composed, even though he is still a teenager.

Stefan has excellent heading technique and positional sense, and good anticipation.

He needs to improve his strength and of course gain a bit more experience, but he looks on course to develop into a really top defender.

Cleo
Age: 25
Nationality: Brazilian
PositionStriker
Estimated market value: €2.5M-5M
Efficiency rating: Goal or assist every 142.8 minutes

Cleo is an excellent attacker, with a great eye for goal.

The Brazilian forward is great in the air, has superb technique and good passing ability.

He moves particularly well with or without ball, and is a strong player, who knows how to shield the ball from opponents.

He has had a fantastic season for Partizan , with 12 goals and an assist, including nine in the Champions League group stage and qualifying.

He is a crowd favourite, and is a calm and composed man with an impeccable mentality.

Cleo needs to improve his speed and acceleration a little in order to play in a major European league.

Nemanja Tomic
Age
: 22
Nationality: Serbian
PositionAttacking midfielder (R)
Estimated market value: €1-2.5M
Efficiency rating: Goal or assist every 426 minutes

Tomic is a fantastic Serbian talent.

He is an amazing dribbler with very high technical ability, intelligence and creativity.

He has made steady progress for the club since breaking into the side in the 2008⁄2009 season, and has scored two goals this term, including a free-kick in the Champions League qualifier against Pyunik Yerevan.

His main weakness, often said of young players, is that he sometimes holds onto the ball for too long.

But if he improves his decision-making and under the right tutelage, Tomic could turn into a terrific talent.

Aleksandar Davidov
Age
: 23
Nationality: Serbian
PositionAttacking mid(L)
Estimated market value€250K-500K
Efficiency rating: Goal or assist every 426 minutes

Davidov is left midfielder with all the right traits for the role.

He is fast, explosive, has excellent technical abilities, very good dribbling skill and a sweet strike at goal.

The man who set up Cleo 's second goal against RSC Anderlecht in Champions League qualifying is a versatile player, having also played in the central and defensive midfield roles.

Davidov's lack of physical strength is his main weakness.

Marko Jovanovic
Age
22
Nationality: Serbian
PositionCentral defender
Estimated market value: €1M-2.5M

Another hot prospect in the Partizan squad.

Good in the air, fast and strong, Jovanovic has all the attributes to become an excellent centre-back. He just needs more opportunity to showcase his abilities.

Jovanovic, a member of the Serbian Under-21 national team, is a versatile defender, who can also do a good job at right back.

Milan Smiljanic (on loan from Espanyol)
Age
23
Nationality: Serbian
Position: Defensive midfielder
Estimated market value€2.5M-5M

Smiljanic is a clever defensive midfielder.

He has good awareness,  always appearing to know where his teammates are.

He also has a good first touch and has a decent passing game, always looking to get the ball into feet as quickly as possible.

In addition, Smiljanic has an excellent shot with either foot.

Smiljanic (aka Lola) is not an exceptionally fast player, but he makes up for it with his quickness of thought.

He has won six caps for Serbia and scored one goal.

He dis show leadership qualities at the beginning of his career, but he appears to have a bit of an immature mentality.
