Crystal Palace starlet Victor Moses has been linked with a host of major clubs during the January transfer window but favours a move to Arsenal, according to a report in the Sunday Telegraph today.

Manchester City sent scouts to watch Moses in action at Wolves in the FA Cup yesterday and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reportedly had his eye on Moses for much of the season.

The Sunday Telegraph claim that "While City could offer Moses more money, Wenger’s record of developing young players makes Arsenal the preferred destination. With Jack Wilshere, Fran Merida, Kieran Gibbs and Aaron Ramsey, Wenger has assembled a group of players that could dominate English football over the next 10 years. Moses would complement that group perfectly."

Manchester City are expected to bid three million pounds for Moses who has been linked with Liverpool, Real Madrid, Tottenham, Hoffenheim, Fulham, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest.

Moses’ agent Tony Finnigan was quoted saying: "In an ideal world I want Victor’s future sorted out as soon as possible and I’m sure Palace do too."

The 19-year-old forward has been in great form in recent weeks, scoring five goals in his last six games in the Championship for Crystal Palace .

This is complete rubbish as I know for a fact that all of Manchester City's scouts are offshore, to top that off the papers would have you believe City are chasing and bidding for loads of players but the truth is. Robero Mancini is only interested in loan signings wih a view to buying players at the end of the season.

Manchester City were never chasing Victor Moses at all, this is a clear representation of clubs and agents using Manchester City rumour to increase their players profile and price tag.
