French newspaper L’Equipe reports that Bayern Munich have attempted to start negotiations with Franck Ribery over a new deal but the winger remains coy over his future.

Ribery recently admitted he would confirm his future plans in the coming weeks with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea all interested.

Bayern Munich sporting director Christian Nerlinger said: "On Saturday I had a conversation with him and I asked how he imagined his future."

Nerlinger continued: "He said he only wanted to concentrate on what happened on the field during the coming weeks."

Ribery is contracted to Bayern Munich until the end of the 2010/2011 campaign and the German giants have given him until the end of March to decide his future.
