Midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala  opened South Africa 2010 with a brilliant volley into the far top corner, giving South Africa a great start to the competition.
 
Manchester United's Park Ji-Sung scored a wonderful goal for South Korea, showing great tenacity during a performance displaying real leadership as captain.

Left-back Gabriel Heinze scored a faboulous header against Nigeria, while Argentina's attacking talents found it impossible to beat Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.

Lukas Podolski scored a thunderbolt created by Thomas Muller, helping Germany to the most convicing win of the World Cup so far.

Another great goal for Germany came from veteran striker Miroslav Klose , his 11th World Cup goal. He is getting closer and closer to the all-time World Cup scoring record of 15 goals currently held by Ronaldo.
