Jose Mourinho
Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has dismissed Arsenal 's chances of winning the Premier League and denigrated Arsene Wenger's youth policy.
Mourinho, who is preparing to lead his Real Madrid side as the Spanish season kicks off, took time out to comment on the Premier League.
The self-styled 'special one' said that each year Arsenal fail to fulfill their potential and that this season will be no different.
Mourinho said, "Year after year it looks like success. But no, it looks like it, but no.
"And it’s always the same kind of comment: 'It’s a young team' or 'it will be next season'.
"I remember when we (Chelsea) played them in a Carling Cup semifinal when they played a team of young boys.
"That team of young boys are a team of 25, 26 or 27-year-olds. So Cesc Fabregas , Theo Walcott, Gael Clichy, Alex Song and Bacary Sagna are not a team of young kids.
"They are a team of an age to win things. But I do not think they will do it.
"I think it will again be Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City, because they have a great squad."
Arsenal have failed to win a trophy since lifting the FA Cup in 2005. Arsene Wenger has added Marouane Chamakh and defenders Laurent Koscielny and Sebastien Squillaci to the Gunners' squad this summer in the quest for honours.
