Javier Garrido
Manchester City have just signed Serbia international Aleksandar Kolarov from the Serie A side, and are therefore willing to offload the 25-year-old Spaniard who has fallen further behind in the Eastlands pecking order.
The transfer fee is reported to be £2.5m, but according to Tuttosport, Garrido could be considered part of the Kolarov deal.
Garrido was signed in 2007 from Real Sociedad for £1.5m by then-Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson, but fell out of favour with Mark Hughes and didn’t have much better luck under Roberto Mancini.
Manchester City are looking to offload some of their fringe players in light of their summer spending and the new 25-man Premier League squad limit.
