Robinho
Brazilian star Robinho has made it known that he would be delighted to join Barcelona as part of a deal to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester City .
Spanish daily Sport reported yesterday that City were keen to bring Swedish striker Ibrahimovic to Eastlands, but were put off by Barcelona 's price-tag of 50 million euros and had responded by offering Robinho in part-exchange.
The same newspaper this morning quotes Robinho 's representative Evandro de Souza, who has spoken to the player about a possible move to Barcelona .
De Souza said, "Any player in the world would love to play at a club like Barca."
Although the 26-year-old has enjoyed a successful loan period at Santos during the last six months, de Souza views his period in Brazil as a means to an end to secure a bigger move to a club like Barcelona .
He continued, "The stay at Santos was perfect for the World Cup. If you have a good tournament, it will open the doors of the big European clubs, including Barcelona . "
De Souza also revealed that Robinho does not get on well with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.
"Robinho's relationship with the leaders of Manchester City is very good, although it is true that there are some problems with coach Roberto Mancini," he claimed.
Robinho, who is set to lead Brazil's attack in the World Cup, was bought by Manchester City from Real Madrid in September 2008 for €42.5. However, he has since proved to be an expensive luxury at Eastlands. He has performed consistently well for Santos since joining them in January, helping them to the Paulista title.
