German World Cup star Mesut Ozil has hinted that a move to Real Madrid could be on the cards.

"I'm not talking about Real Madrid ,” Ozil told the Marca, notably adding, “For the moment," and declaring, “I love Spain."

Ozil, holidaying in Mallorca, is under contract with Werder Bremen until 2011.

And in the knowledge that they could lose the player for nothing next year, Bremen have said they are ready to listen to offers for their young midfield maestro.

Since his phenomenal World Cup displays, Ozil, a past IMScouting player-to-watch, has been chased by a host of top clubs. including Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona.

I don't think that this story is true if Ozil comes to Spain he will go to Barcelona this week Ozil has said that if he leaves Germany he will go to Barcelona because I don't think that Barcelona will sign Fabregas not this summer.

in some ways you are right there are a lot of overrated players that play in the most overrrated league in the world. Fernando Torres Cesc Fabregas David Silva Carlos Tevez Dider Drogba no these players are good and not overrated.

yeah he go to the most over rated league Spain where there are only two teams fight it out to be winners and what take Alonso place ? kaka's place oh please and so Ozil had a few good games and now he thinks he world class, give me a break

The Premiership is by far the best league in the world. There is no way u can say it is overrated! Barcelona lost 1 game last season, shows how most the teams in their league offer no competition.

i am a manchester united fan and i admit the league title race in england is really enjoable and you dont knoe sometimes who is gunna win in la liga its either real or barca or valencia sometimes have good spells in th prem its out of 5 clubs moslty chel man utd liverpool arsenal and city i think will soon be contenders but i admit that the prem is what it is becasue or forign talent and teh oezil roumer is bull cuz united i hate to say it have no money to spend GLAZERS OUTT!!!!!

I thought he was meant to be a Barcelona fan?...........must be money orientated just like every other footballer in the game, no Barca fan would ever wear the colours of Real Madrid or vica-versa.

Class player no doubt, not sure why United and Liverpool are still linked with him, I am sure the bidding would get over £5m even if he is out of contract next season........they don't have a chance to buy him regardless, no money and no class.

Actually... the Real Madrid Coach was going to sell Kaka for Mesut Ozil and Thomas Muellar (I dont know how you spell it :)
But recently he changed his mind and says he can bring Kaka back up to his best and scrapped the whole thomas muellar idea.
BUT-he is still pursueing Mesut Ozil (yeah!!!)
