Manchester United are ready to offer RSC Anderlecht €20 million for teenage sensation Romelu Lukaku , according to Belgian sources.

The 17-year-old, dubbed 'The New Didier Drogba" burst onto the scene last season with 18 goals and six assists. And he is well on the way to beating those figures this season, scoring 14 goals and setting up three, and has a league efficiency ratio of a goal and assist every 111.1 minutes.

He is one of the most in-demand players in Europe, and Anderlecht have said as many as 15 clubs are after him.

Lukaku is strong, fast and deadly in front of goal. He moves well in the box and is always in the right place at the right time. He shoots well with both feet, although he prefers his left side.

He is a good passer of the ball, too, adept at creating scoring opportunities for his teammates.

Lukaku does need to work on his technique in small spaces, but he is sure to progress into a truly world class player.

He said it himself its gonna be either Chelsea or Real Madrid why is ManU even bothering with the offer

Why bother with man utd??? cuz they are the best club in england!! he wont get to play for real and chelsea have been looking at neymar. dude where's your head!

He wl b gud addition to our devoloping team he is deadly infront of goal

At the moment he might not even get a game at man u. Berba is finding form Rooney is on the return an once he gets a goal or 2 he will be back to his best. An I think Hernandez looks good too. Not to mention welbeck an macheda. But I haven't seen anything of lukaku just know he's good on football manager :P

complete nonsense

Only resemblance to drogba is his colour. Too slow for prem league for a start

Chelsea are an ageing team and need more than just a young forward. In the short term utd could be the better option, they have far less rebuilding to do than chelsea.

You guys are all dreaming!
Nr1: He's not leaving in januari cause he and his parents want him to finish his school.
Nr2: Herman Van Holsbeek (Anderlecht financial manager) said that Lukaku is worth MORE than 20 million.
Tottenham already offered 20 million bid but was rejected by the club.
Nr3: I don't think that Manchester United needs him if Berbatov and Rooney will perform at their normal level.

He could be good but he does not have a place in Man u now.

fergie said "no transfers for man.utd in january" stupid decision......

Wouldn't mind him signing but where does he fit in? He seems to much like Diouf who is looking great at Blackburn except Diouf is lightening fast and ok he's a few years old but we have youngster like Welbeck, Macheda, King, Ajose who're all near his age and Herandez,Rooney, Diouf all in there early 20s.
