Manchester United have resumed their pursuit of World Cup star Mesut Ozil , according to the Sun.

Werder Bremen have said they are ready to listen to offers for Ozil, who was an IMScouting Player-to-Watch two years ago.

"I can imagine that in the coming weeks some club signings will begin to be more concrete," said Bremen director Klaus Allofs when questioned about the future of the German midfielder last week. "If there are concrete offers and Mesut and his agent want to consider them, we will study them."

Chelsea and Arsenal are among several clubs vying for Ozil's signature with Manchester United after a string of phenomenal displays in South Africa.

Arsenal are said to be eying Ozil as a possible replacement for Cesc Fabregas, and are believed to be prepared to pay Werder Bremen £20 million for him.

Manchester United Manager Alex Ferguson lost out on Ozil when the German was still a teenager, but is said to have been closely monitoring the 21-year-old playmaker.

I like Wenger to buy Mesut Ozil to replace eventual old guard like Tomas Rosicky or the wait to be fully effective Abou Diaby

United dont have any money at all, they are worried about how to pay for all the bog rolls fans will be using next season as they wipe the shit out of their eyes and finally see they are a club that is dying on its arse, sold out to the U.S.A because no one cared about the club. BECAUSE all the fucking fans are from outside manchester, dont ask me where - all over the fucking show... Bradford, London, sussex, yorkshire- fucking Glory-hunters- well youve fucked up now cos Nited are turning into old men and shit players like Smalling, Nani, Giggs and Fernandez ???? All in your face... to call Giggs: the most decorated player in Premier League history shit is just ignorant. He's a legend. Hernandez is a class player, just you wait and see. 6m will be a stonewall bargain. Nani is excellent on his day and Smalling is unproven. How can you call an unproven player shit?! I bet you haven't seen him play a single game. MORON!

All in your face., jealousy is an ugly thing you idiot. I understand its exiting for non-united supporters that united dont have unlimited funds but it is hilarious how you shout your mouths off like jealous teenagers, retarded enough to belive a club as big as united will go down, even if they finished 5th this season, they will always be a big club, they have too much support. i LOVE IT HOW EVERYONE HATES UNITED BECAUSE THEY ARE SUCCESFUL BUT YOU HYPICRITICAL MORONS WANT TO BE AS SUCCESFUL YOURSELVES..... So when your club hits the big time will you start slating it like you have for united the last 20 years.... no you wouldnt. Mate , you and your band of haters are simply jealous idiots. Oh yea.. I support Leeds and can still show respect where its deserved..... even to United.
