Reports in Croatia have claimed that Manchester United are tracking Dinamo Zagreb playmaker Milan Badelj .

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been impressed with the 21-year-old and reportedly considers him as another Luka Modric who has also been linked with the Premier League champions since signing for Spurs.

Badelj would be expected to fetch around eight to ten million euros and Manchester United are weighing up whether to launch a bid in the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old midfielder has impressed for Dinamo Zagreb in 2009/2010, scoring 10 goals in 28 appearances.

German sides Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in Badelj and would provide competition to Manchester United for the signing of the midfielder.

Badelj has been compared to former Croatian legend Zvonimir Boban and was recently named an IMScouting Player to Watch.

A full scouting report, including video evidence, can be seen here.
