Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is set to swoop for two of Roma’s biggest talents, according to reports in Italy.
The Premier League champions have sent scouts to watch Roma pair Valerio Verre and Filippo Cipriani, who are both 15.
Scout David Williams has tracked Verre, a midfielder and Cipriani, a defender and Manchester United could swoop before they sign professional contracts with Roma.
The Roma pair reportedly came to Manchester United ’s attention during the Manchester United Premier Cup.
Manchester United famously signed Italian striker Federico Macheda before he had signed a professional deal with Lazio.
