Olympique Marseille will attempt to prise Didier Drogba away from Chelsea in the summer, according to French sources.

Chelsea bought Drogba for £24million from Marseille in 2004 and he has since been an incredible success at Stamford Bridge.

There were rumours that Marseille bid for the Ivorian in the summer, but they were later denied by Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The 32-year-old is contracted to the Blues until 2012, but back in September he hinted that he would be open to a move away from Stamford Bridge.

If Drogba have to return to France, I believe Chelsea need another same or better power with skill up-front to replace him and that might be Samuel Eto'o. I hope Carlo Ancelotti like to bring him to the Chelsea.
