PSG close in on Manchester United midfielder Anderson

French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain hope to complete the January transfer deadline day signing of Manchester United midfielder Anderson , according to L’Equipe.

PSG have been in discussions with the Premier League champions as they are looking for a left-sided midfielder.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson had been unwilling to let Anderson leave Old Trafford but has reportedly now relented after the Brazilian midfielder went AWOL last week.

The 21-year-old midfielder travelled to Rio last week without telling anyone at the club after he was left out of Manchester United ’s first team for the match against Hull City.

Whilst in Brazil, Anderson held discussions with Vasco Da Gama who admitted they could not afford the Manchester United midfielder.

Anderson has started only nine of Manchester United 's 24 Premier League matches so far this season.  He has struggled to establish himself as a first team regular at Old Trafford since his 2007 move from Porto.

He can't go! My favourite player behind Giggs and every time I see him play at Old Trafford he does well. Yeah he hasn't hit the form of the last two seasons but selling him would be a mistake

anderson should be given chances to prove himself.he is good but ver immature.he is good and has a bright future,we all know that.the world is improving and chances will improve anderson alot.
