Reports in the Ukraine claim that Greek side Panathinaikos have targeted Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin in the January transfer window.
The Greek side believe they will have to pay in the region of 1.5 million euros and are confident of securing Voronin, who is out of favour under Rafa Benitez at Anfield.
Panathinaikos may launch a loan bid for Voronin for the second half of the season which could increase the strikers value ahead of the summer transfer window.
Voronin’s Liverpool contract expires at the end of the 2010/2011 campaign. He has made 11 appearances for the Merseyside giants this season but not played since the draw with Lyon in early November.
