Dusko Tosic

Premier League strugglers Portsmouth have agreed a deal to sign Serbian left back Dusko Tosic .

The 25-year-old defender has just been released by Werder Bremen after he performed a u-turn on a loan move to Duisburg.

Tosic has agreed to join Portsmouth and is now waiting for a work permit to join the bottom club in the Premier League.

The attacking minded left back has made eight appearances for the Serbian national team and played just 17 minutes of Bundesliga football for Bremen this season.

IMScouting’s network of scouts in Germany describe Tosic as "talented left back, a speedy player with a lot of energy. Tosic can provide good crosses from his flank but he is not always accurate with his passing. He is quite strong and very determined in the tackle."
