According to Spanish daily newspaper El Mundo Deportivo, Juventus are the latest club preparing a serious offer to lure French winger Franck Ribery , offering Diego as part of a deal.

Ribery has been subject to constant speculation over his future, with Manchester United , Chelsea and in particular Real Madrid linked with the 26 year-old.  Both the player and Bayern Munich have made it clear for some time that his future will be decided in the near future, perhaps even this month.

However, El Mundo Deportivo suggest that Italian giants Juventus will now launch a bid to capture Ribery from under the noses of Real Madrid , Manchester United and Chelsea .  Although they lack the raw financial muscle of their rivals, the Italian club will reportedly offer Brazilian midfielder Diego in part-exchange.

The 25 year-old has scored 4 goals in 30 matches for Juventus this season, but knows the Bundesliga well following three seasons at Werder Bremen. He also has 36 international caps to his name.

Ribery has been plagued by injuries this season, but recently made a return to first team action. Last week he scored the winner for Bayern in a 1-0 victory over Hamburg.

Bayern are desperate to sort out Ribery's future before the summer, when he will enter the final year of his contract and be available at a knock-down price. Now it appears that Juventus have joined Real Madrid , Manchester United and Chelsea in the battle for his signature.

Well I don't even think Juventus have enough money to add with Diego for Ribery.
Juventus are going down hill at the moment and he shouldn't move there if he wants
to be recognized. To be a top class player Ribery needs to establish himself at clubs like
Chelsea, Man U or Real Madrid. But saying that as a Chelsea fan I hope he comes to Stamford Bridge!

The only viable stage for Ribery to flourish is Old Trafford... United are crying out for a talisman to sit behind Rooney and he wouldn't be caught up in messy politics (like at Chelsea) or be in anyone's shadow (like Ronaldo's, Kaka's, Raul's & any of the other Divas at Real Madrid)..
I'm not a United fan at all, but it seems perfectly logical to me..
Although, I wish he'd just overlook them all and come to Upton Park!

Agree with above. No top player would want to go to Italy.
