West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo has said that he would still like to sign Liverpool 's David N'Gog .

The 21-year-old has been used mainly from the bench since arriving at Anfield from Paris St Germain in 2008.  However, he has started the season in excellent form, scoring three of Liverpool 's four goals in the Europa League tie against FC Rabotnicki.

West Brom manager Di Matteo told Sky Sports, "Ngog is a player we've been linked with and we are working on that one… We're trying. It's ongoing.

"We are looking at a number of players we would like to sign."

N'Gog's signing would be a significant boost for West Brom, who will hope to play their way to Premier League survival this season.

However, the chances of N'Gog going to the Hawthorns are slim, with the Frenchman expected to partner Fernando Torres in Liverpool 's attack for the Reds' Premier League opener against Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday.

If West Brom were less miserable and actually opened their wallet to buy a player instead of wanting freebies maybe they could get him 7 mill will snare him.
I hope they never make it back up they are a waste make way for a side that will make a go of it.
