Ronaldinho
Brazilian star Ronaldinho has said that he has every intention of staying at AC Milan , following speculation over his future.
The 30-year-old has undergone somewhat of a renaissance since arriving at the San Siro two years ago from Barcelona. The former World Player of the Year caught the eye for AC Milan last season but missed out on a place at the World Cup.
This season, Ronaldinho has enjoyed fewer first-team opportunities at AC Milan . He sat out Sunday's derby and there have been rumours that he could join LA Galaxy on a bumper deal.
However, Ronaldinho has now moved to squash such speculation once and for all.
He told Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, "My future? I reiterate one last time that I have no intention of leaving Milan .
"The success that I will get with the Rossoneri will give me the drive to achieve my lifelong dream, to play at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
"Take my name away from the transfer market because I'm happy at Milan ."
Commenting on being left out of the AC Milan side for Sunday's derby, Ronaldinho said, "You cannot be happy when you don't play an important game like the derby,
"But when I look at the table, I am happy.
"Milan are at the top of the standings and have everything to win the Scudetto."
