Gyan Asamoah

Ghana World Cup star Asamoah Gyan is said to be hours away from completing his move to Sunderland from Stade Rennes .

According to the French RMC radio station, the two clubs have agreed on a  transfer fee of around €14 million for the striker.

The 25-year-old is already in England and will sign a four-year contract, said RMC.

Despite his agonizing penalty miss in the last minute of extra-time in the quarter-final against Uruguay, Gyan was impressive in the World Cup, scoring three goals in the tournament and demonstrating his devastating pace and power.
