21-year-old Denni Avdic is a Swedish footballer of Bosnian descent, currently on fire in the Swedish Allsvenskan, scoring 12 goals (5 braces) in 14 league appearances and is the league's top scorer.
When he was 15 years old he was signed by Brondy IF of the Danish league, but never played any senior games. Wanting to play near his family, in 2006 Avdic signed for Elfsborg where he has been playing ever since.
Avdic has been praised as one of Sweden's greatest talent's for some time now, but this season he has finally shown what he is capable of, ranking as one the best strikers in the league.
The 1.90m-tall striker was a part of Sweden's Under-21 national squad and also has one cap for the full national team.
Avdic is described as a target striker, who can also play as an attacking midfielder, because of his great technique. He has great finishing skills and heading abilities, but is a little slow on his feet.
Avdic also ranks as the fourth best scorer per minute in the world, scoring a goal every 74.3 minutes. A huge talent who obviously needs to play at a higher level, which will probably happen if he continues in this way.
