Following last week’s Special Report which listed the most effective goalkeepers in Europe, below includes the least effective custodians in European football.

The criteria remained the same, only keepers who had played at least 270 minutes were included and there were some surprise results.

Italian goalkeeper Matteo Gritti takes the wooden spoon for conceding 16 goals in 346 minutes for Swiss side AC Bellinzona.

Coming in second, having played the three full matches that warrant inclusion, is Bulgarian Yordan Linkov who has let in 11 goals 270 minutes.

Arguably the most famous keeper on the list is Atletico Madrid’s Roberto Jimenez .
