The People newspaper have sensationally claimed today that Spurs captain Robbie Keane has been made available for transfer by manager Harry Redknapp.
Alongside the Republic of Ireland striker, Spurs are also willing to let go of Alan Hutton , Roman Pavlyuchenko and David Bentley .
Spurs have reportedly placed a valuation of eight million pounds on Keane with Sunderland and Aston Villa leading the chase. Keane played 58 minutes of the 1-0 defeat to Wolves yesterday but is generally thought to be third choice behind Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch at White Hart Lane.
According to The People Spurs are eager to offload these four players in order to sign Ruud van Nistelrooy. The Mail on Sunday today suggests Tottenham will use incoming money to sign Matthew Upson and David James whilst Internacional midfielder Sandro is expected to sign for the London club in January.
Everton are believed to be interested in Scotland full-back Alan Hutton , Manchester City have shown an interest in David Bentley and Roman Pavlyuchenko ’s agent has confirmed the Russian striker will leave in January.
Ooleg Artemov said: "I do not want to comment on what Redknapp says but we had a very constructive meeting with Daniel Levy at which we discussed Roman's future. Now we are expecting the next stage of the talks. There is clear interest in him from several clubs. Personally, I want Pavlyuchenko to move."
