David Silva
Valencia’s Spanish winger David Silva could be heading to Manchester United , according to a report in The Sun this morning.
In an article linking David Villa with both Manchester City and Chelsea, Geoff Sweet claims Silva will be available and Silva is also available in the summer and "Manchester United are sure to fancy the attacking midfielder, who may fetch up to £20million."
Valencia have been undergoing financial problems in recent months and it looks likely that both Silva and Villa will leave the Mestalla.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to be in the market for a left winger as an eventual replacement for Ryan Giggs .
Barcelona are also expected to compete with Manchester United for the signing of Silva, Pep Guardiola reportedly believes the Spanish winger could replace Thierry Henry in the left forward position.
David Silva, 24, has been in fine form for Valencia in 2009/2010, scoring six goals and providing six assists in 28 appearances.
