New West Ham boss Avram Grant is interested in signing Fulham 's Dickson Etuhu and Argentinian striker Gonzalo Bergessio , according to the Daily Mail.

25-year-old Bergessio is currently at French side St Etienne, having moved from Argentinian side San Lorenzo a year ago.  He has hardly been prolific in France, scoring just five goals in 31 games last season.

Nicknamed 'The Bull' Bergessio is reportedly valued at around four million pounds.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail also claims that West Ham are monitoring Dickson Etuhu 's contract talks with Fulham .  The 28-year-old played an important role last year as a defensive midfielder in Fulham 's outstanding season, helping them reach the Europa League final.  Currently at the World Cup with Nigeria, Etuhu has spent his entire career in England.

West Ham co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold have indicated that wholesale changes will be made to the Upton Park squad this summer.  They have stated that they are open to offers for any of the Hammers' players apart from Scott Parker .
