Avram Grant is reportedly interested in bringing experienced German goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand to West Ham.

The 31-year-old was released by Bundesliga side Hoffeheim at the end of last season, but he has tremendous experience having won seven caps with Germany.  An agile stopper, good in one-on-one situations, Hildebrand holds the Bundesliga record of 884 consecutive minutes without conceding a goal.

West Ham have been rumoured to be targeting a goalkeeper for most of the summer to provide competition for Robert Green

According to the Daily Mail, with Hildebrand available on a free transfer, West Ham boss Grant is particularly keen to bring his quality and experience to Upton Park.
