After last week’s Special Report where we looked at which teams in Europe score the most goals per game, we have used the IMScouting Report Generator to discover which sides concede the least goals per game.

The report only includes teams from the top five leagues - England's Premier League, Spain's Primera Division, France's Ligue 1, the Germany Bundesliga and Italy's Serie A and can be seen below.

Using just league games for the 2009/2010 campaign, the report proves that attack is the best form of defence and confirms what a great side Barcelona are. The Catalan giants concede on average just 0.526 goals a game and despite being a great attacking side, their retention of the ball means they don’t concede many goals.

A host of other big teams make an appearance including Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Chelsea and Manchester United. Whilst Auxerre, currently in seventh position in Ligue 1, come in third, which may come as a major surprise.

The Special Report can be seen below. You can see all special reports at the IMScouting special report section. You can also calculate your own reports at the IMScouting report generator, which creates instant comparisons of players and teams from every league in the world.
