Raheem Sterling
Liverpool's new star youngster Raheem Sterling made a dream start to his Anfield career, scoring in a 4-3 victory in an under-18 match against Everton.
15 year-old Sterling signed for Liverpool last month from Queens Park Rangers in a deal said to be eventually worth up to £2million.
Liverpool youth boss Rodolfo Borrell told the club website,"I was pleased with Raheem's contribution and that he scored on his debut. He is quick and skilful but still only young. He can improve tactically and has a long way to go, but he is a great signing for this football club.
"He was one of a number of good individual performances, but the main thing was how well the team did as a whole. That is what matters most and they all contributed to a deserved triumph."
Before signing for Liverpool, Sterling had been targeted by the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, having already starred for the England under-16 side.
