According to reports in Egypt, English giants Arsenal will take part in a "peace tournament" to be held in Madrid starting on July 22, 2009.

The Egyptian press claims that Arsenal might feature in the tournament against the Egyptian and African champions Al Ahly, who have already received an official invitation to take part in the tournament.

Ahly is yet to decide on its participation in the tournament. Coach Manuel Jose has already chosen Germany to be the venue for the team's summer training camp, which will also commence in July. But a match against Arsenal would be very tempting for Ahly officials.

Other clubs who will definitely participate in the tournament are Real Madrid, Juventus, Lyon, Bordeaux, Ajax, Al Ittihad Jeddah and perhaps a team from South America.

Each team will receive half a million euros for participating. If a team reaches the final it will receive one million euros and the winner will take home a prize of two million euros.

The Saudi club Al Ittihad should work on new signing to replace Renato the Brazilian player with top level play maker such as Riquelme if they really want to compete with Real Madrid and other class A teams in this tournament.

Certainly Hazzazi central forward, Noor "Capt", Abu Sharwan forward, and Osama Al Mualad central back will show great deal of amzing football.
