Bischoff made just four appearances for the Arsenal first team
With his contract at Arsenal winding down at the end of the month, midfielder
Amaury Bischoff is set for a move to Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain.
The 22-year-old central midfielder was a surprise purchase last summer from Werder Bremen and he struggled for playing time at the Emirates and he also had fitness problems, including a groin operation.
Bischoff made just one Premier League appearance, as a substitute in the 3-0 win at Portsmouth in early May, he also made three other substitute appearances in the FA Cup and Carling Cup.
The Portuguese Under-21 international also played nine times for the Arsenal reserve team.
Sporting Lisbon, Benfia and FC Porto had all been linked with a move for Bischoff but it is believed that Arsene Wenger’s contacts with the Parisian giants has swayed the move.
There is also speculation that the deal may influence Arsenal’s efforts to secure highly-rated young PSG striker Jimmy Kamghian.
