Arsenal have put young defender Kerrea Gilbert up for sale, according to a report in the Daily Mirror this morning.

The 22-year-old right back is in the last year of his contract at Arsenal and will not be offered a new deal.

Gilbert has played two Carling Cup matches for the Gunners this season after spending last season on loan at Leicester City (appearances: 34, goals: 1, yellow cards: 2).

Peterborough are interested in taking Gilbert on loan although Arsenal are eager to sell the defender in January.
