Once a bright young star of Uruguayan side Danubio Montevideo, for whom he scored 19 goals in 14 games in the 2007 Aperura, Stuani has since been playing for Italy's Serie B side Reggina Calcio, who still own his player card.
After two seasons in Italy and a minimum of playing time, he was loaned for the 2009/10 season to Albacente Balompie of the Segunda Division.
The 22-year-old striker has finally returned to form scoring a wonderful hat-trick in his third game after coming off the bench. Stuani's good physical qualities and strength will surely improve in time and as can be seen in the video along with his very good positioning and finishing abilities, he is a striker to keep an eye out for.
