Gregory Coupet
Paris Saint Germain goalkeeper
Gregory Coupet has vowed to return from the horror injury he sustained on Saturday in the match against Auxerre.
The veteran custodian underwent an operation on his fractured left ankle within hours of sustaining the injury and admitted the images of him sustaining the injury were "shocking."
Coupet is now expected to be out for at least three months but told L’Equipe: "At first I thought it could end my career but now not at all. I have six weeks without setting my foot on the floor, then I will begin rehabilitation."
The former Lyon keeper added: "I have experience of being injured… I will and I fear nothing."
