Free agent Modeste M’Bami will sign for Spanish side Almeria today, once he passes a medical at the Primera Division club.

The Cameroon international was released by Marseille after three seasons with the French giants and had been on trial at Premier League club Wigan.

The 26-year-old midfielder has signed a one-year deal with an option for two more seasons.

M’Bami could make his debut for Almeria at the Nou Camp on Saturday.
