Saturday night witnessed the Sao Paulo state championship playoffs in Brazil with Palmeiras taking on Santos in a clash between two of the brightest prospects in the country, Keirrison and Neymar .

The two young players did not disappoint, with both claiming a goal as Santos ran out 2-1 winners on the night.

Keirrison opened the scoring on eight minutes with a header after his initial effort had been blocked; this was his 13th goal of the Paulista.

Kleber equalised for Santos on 19 minutes and it was left to Neymar to provide a little magic for Santos to claim the win, the winger dubbed "the new Robinho" turned and shot past Marcos two minutes after half-time.

Palmeiras and Santos will meet again next Saturday; the three goals from the first game can be seen on the video below.
