As expected, Paul Le Guen has extended his contract as coach of Cameroon.

The former Lyon and PSG coach has signed an extension for seven months which takes him up to the end of the 2010 World Cup.

Le Guen has been in the job for just five months and has been rewarded for guiding Cameroon to South Africa.

Cameroon have won their last four matches and will be one of the favourites going into the Africa Cup of Nations in January.
