Pavlyuchenko - Uncertain future
Although Tottenham striker
Roman Pavlyuchenko has made no secret of his desire to leave White Hart Lane, there is confusion over where he might move.
Serie A club Roma is certainly one of the favourites to secure the Russian's signature, his agent Oliver Wendt commenting "Roman wants to leave London and he wants to go to Roma. If Tottenham allow him to go, Roman could be a Roma player.
"Everything depends on the meeting we will have today or tomorrow with Roma.
"I had contact with the Roma directors last week too and they showed they were interested."
Yet Pavlyunchenko could be keen on a move back to Russia where Zenit St Petersburg are reported to have lined up a move for the 27 year old. Pavlyuchenko could be tempted by the prospect of Champions League football, as Zenit secured their place in next season's competition on Sunday following a 2-1 win over the Spurs striker's former club Spartak Moscow.
Liverpool and Spartak Moscow are reportedly among the other clubs interested in the tall target man, who has slipped behind Robbie Keane, Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe in the pecking order at White Hart Lane.
