Ruud van Nistelrooy
After sealing a move to German Bundesliga side Hamburg, Ruud van Nistelrooy has written a letter to fans of Real Madrid thanking them for their support during his time at the Bernabeu.
Van Nistelrooy: "We will never forget our time here. You have made us feel at home here from day one. Madrid will forever be in our hearts, because our children were born here."
The Dutch hitman added: "You were always there for us and that is why we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We have enjoyed every minute of every day here. Therefore, we wish you all every success."
The former PSV and Manchester United striker will bid farewell to the Real Madrid fans on the picth at the Bernabeu before the match with Malaga tonight.
