Highly-rated Argentine striker Sergio Aguero has ruled out moving to Chelsea in January despite widespread rumours that he was heading to west London.

Aguero said: "I won't be moving. It is my obligation to help the team get out of the trouble they are in."

Chelsea were reportedly closing in on Aguero in a move that would see them buy the 21-year-old and loan him back to Atletico Madrid .

In 2009/2010, Aguero has scored eight goals in 17 appearances despite Atletico Madrid ’s woeful start to the campaign. They are currently 19th in the Primera Division having won just one league game in 11 matches.
