25 year old Melvin Valladeres is the latest target for Tottenham Hotspur as manager Harry Redknapp looks to further boost his striking options.  

The Honduran striker recently enjoyed a trial period at White Hart Lane and commented "It was a nice experience for me. I feel happy because I think I did a good job, but now the last word is with Tottenham and I have to wait, whilst doing my best for my current side."

Recommended to Redknapp by his Honduran compatriot Wilson Palacios , Valladeres currently plays for Honduran side Real Espana and has made 12 appearances for the national side.  

A move for Valladeres in the January transfer window could prove to be a bargain for Tottenham, as the striker is set to star at next year's World Cup.  It would also be a further indication that the London club will offload Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko this winter.
