Reports in France this morning suggest that Toulouse have rejected a bid from Tottenham for highly-rated midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
Olivier Sadran, the president of Toulouse, has rejected a 14 million euro bid and is demanding a fee of 30 million euros to sell Sissoko.
With three days until the start of the French Ligue 1 season, it now seems unlikely that Sissoko will leave Toulouse this summer.
Sadran is known in France as a hard negotiator and he successfully managed to hold on to star striker Andre-Pierre Gignac this summer despite interest from Lyon.
Sissoko was called up to the French national squad earlier this week for the upcoming match with the Faroe Islands.
