Dutch media reported that PSV Eindhoven is lining up a January move to sign Turkish striker Halil Altintop from German club Schalke. The 26 year old forward is well known to PSV coach Fred Rutten from his time as Schalke manager last season.
 
Altintop's contract expires this summer and having only managed four appearances for Schalke so far this season, he is keen on a move to the Dutch club.  With five international goals to his name and a strong physical presence to add to his goalscoring prowess, Altintop could be a valuable addition to PSV's squad.
