Gallas, heading for the Emirates exit?
A report in the London Evening Standard today suggests French central defender
William Gallas will reject Arsenal’s offer of a one-year extension to his contract at the Emirates.
Gallas, 32, is out of contract at the end of this season and in line with the policy of the club is only likely to be offered another year on any new deal.
James Olley writes in the Standard: "although talks on a new one-year deal are expected to start next month, Standard Sport understands that early indications suggest he is keen to move abroad. It is thought Gallas wants a longer contract and he will not be short of offers should he decide to run down his deal and leave the club."
Milan giants AC and Inter are expected to register their interest in Gallas who can start talking to potential new clubs in January. At Inter Milan, Gallas could link up with former boss Jose Mourinho.
So far this season Gallas has played 17 games for Arsenal in the Premier League and Champions League, scoring four goals and also picking up two yellow cards.
