Following comments earlier this week from Edin Dzeko that he expects to be playing for AC Milan next season, Wolfsburg have announced that they will sell the Bosnia-Herzegovina striker if the Rossoneri pay his release fee.
Wolfsburg coach Armin Veh told Eurosport: "Dzeko can leave if there is a club that is willing to pay the amount fixed in his contract. It's a fact. The money would allow us to find a substitute of Dzeko's class."
Reports in Italy today suggest the buy-out clause to secure the services of Dzeko is around 34 million euros.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the buy-out clause is only valid during 2010 which puts pressure on AC Milan to secure the transfer, which could see Klaas-Jan Huntelaar leave the club to fund the move.
In 2009/2010, Dzeko has scored six goals and provided four assists in 16 appearances in the Bundesliga and Champions League.
